It may be fleeting, but Laiken actually made it for one car ride (one way) without screaming. Yea!!! We met Jay for lunch today and she went all the way there without screaming at all. Now, she fussed on the way home because she was tired and getting hungry, but she didn't scream the ENTIRE time. I see that as a BIG plus. :)
I bought this item from one step ahead to hopefully help her while she's in the car seat.
She doesn't seem to like the thing that wraps around her, but I think the wedge that goes underneath is helping.......at least I hope so. I also think that she was going through another growth spurt and is finally out of it. Whew! This child is going to be HUGE by the time we go in for her next checkup.
Another little success, I'm down another lb which brings me to a total of 21 lbs lost after the birth and 17 lbs below my starting weight. Woo hoo!! Now I need to keep going and loose some more. I'd love to be back to my weight that I was before Mom got sick. I put on about 20 lbs because of all of the stress and I'm still trying to get that off.
