I did get a new picture!

As one reader commented, I did finally get a new family picture. I figured Laiken's baptism was going to be the best opportunity because everyone would be dressed halfway decent. Well, actually I was mostly concerned about myself since there are days (like today) where I'm lucky to be able to get out of my pajamas. More about that in a minute though. I think the baptism pictures turned out really well. Luckily Laiken cooperated and it wasn't too difficult. Whew!! Here are a couple more pictures from the day.

Now to my laziness. :) No, really, I never could find time to get fully dressed today. Laiken was EXTREMEMLY fussy last night and today. Last night I ended up sleeping in her room for a couple of hours with her on my chest. I couldn't get her to stay asleep if I layed her down in her bed. No fun!

Today she has nursed nearly every hour and again, wouldn't let me lay her down. To compound the problem, our upstairs air conditioner went out and I was afraid to put her down in her room with her swaddle blanket on because I didn't want her to get overheated. Ugh..... She's so exhausted that she's sleeping in a moby sling on my chest right now. Again, it's the only place I can get her to stay asleep. I think I remember this being the same age where Jacie got really fussy. Of course, you tend to forget that part of the early times, or at least I do. Maybe it's because it's all a blur due to lack of sleep.

Please pray for me that I keep my sanity while we're working through this fussy time and no air conditioner. Even if it's a struggle, I'm still loving that we added our surprise to our pink crew.
