My darling littlest munchkin, who is 17 months old, LOVES the bathtub. She took a bath the other night with my oldest. Jacie tends to fall over quite a bit in the tub because she moves around so much and the bigger girls always fill it too full. Obviously I'm in there with them the whole time though.
After a few times of going under, I decided she needed to get out. I got her in her room and dry, changed and ready for bed. Then I realized her sheets needed changing. While I was doing this, my oldest was getting out of the tub. I reminded her to let the water out as she was getting out. Then I hear this very loud THUMP. I run into the bathroom and there is my beautiful bathing beauty playing in the tub fully clothed. She was leaning over the edge of the tub playing with the water as it was draining and fell in. Oh joy!! Even Glow Worm made it in the tub with her. This was not a good thing though because he sounded very sick.
So, I picked her up, stripped the very wet clothes off of her and started over. She was not happy about having to get dressed again. Silly kid!
Poor Glow Worm had to sleep in the bathroom that night though so he could dry out. I still need to check him and see if he's okay.
I would have gotten a picture if I hadn't been a tad freaked out. :)

I am sure that you were kinding of freaking out, but it is too cute that she wanted back in the tub! Enjoy then while they are little, they grow too fast!
I can just imagine the thudding of your heart when you heard that thump!! I have a little waterbug as well, thankfully he's too small to get into the tub on his own. But when he gets bigger . . .
Yes, it was kind of freaky and funny at the same time. After I took off her soaking wet shirt, she looked at me for a minute and then went right back to playing. She still had her soaking wet pants and diaper on. Funny!
