Live Well Wednesday

I have been so off this week. I nearly forgot today was Wednesday. So, as I was driving into work this morning, I was thinking about what I was going to say. The wonderful thing.......GOD already provided it to me.

Yesterday, I was doing my bible study during lunch. I was studying one particular verse in Proverbs while I was eating and reflecting on that. I started reading down a bit further and came across the following verses:

PROVERBS 25:16 & 27

16 "If you find honey, eat only what you need, lest you become glutted with it and vomit it up."

27 "To eat too much honey is not good; nor to seek honor after honor."

The first thing that crossed my mind after reading these passages was "It's time to stop eating. I don't have to eat it all." I love it when I hear GOD speak to me like this and I actually follow his command.

I am a little sad today though because my weight didn't go down like I thought it would. Last week I weighed on Tuesday. This week I weighed on Monday and it showed a loss of 1 lb. That's great! Then today when I weighed it showed a gain of 1 lb. What? I'm so confused. So, do I go with the 1 lb loss or the 1 lb gain? :)

It bugs me a bit, but I'm trying to remind myself that it will all even out in the end and I will see the progress I need. We are still sans sodas at the house and that is wonderful! I'm so thankful that that has actually been a pretty easy transition.

GOD BLESS you all in Living Well!

I agree with Lori, I'm voting for down a pound! lol

I have the same thing going on for about three weeks, one day I'm down 2.5, the next day up three, then down 2 down another, up two! Argh!! Eventually we'll get there.
