Have you ever wondered what you would do if you ran into a celebrity? I have had the pleasure of running into a few in my life, especially since we've moved to the metroplex. The first couple of times I never said anything and just watched.Yesterday I took my oldest to dance class. We were there about 5 minutes early and were waiting for the previous class to get out. I look over to my left and see Jaret, the lead singer of Bowling for Soup. I thought about it for a split second and then thought "I need to take Kealey and Caitie over to meet him." There were a couple of reasons for this.
1. Bowling for Soup is made up of a bunch of guys from my hometown. No, I don't know them personally, but it's pretty cool just to have that connection.
2. Kealey and Caitie both LOVE Bowling for Soup. Kealey has many favorite songs, but right now I think Ohio is her favorite. Caitie's is 1985. She'll sing that song over and over again and, if I do say so myself, it's soooo stinkin' cute!
Jaret was very nice considering he was there to watch his daughter dance and I'm sure wasn't expecting to get accosted by a fan. No, seriously.....I didn't harass him. :) I tried to be as nice as possible and really just wanted to say hi. He had such a cute little girl and she was so sweet!
QUESTION: Do you think it's okay to say something to a celebrity when you see them in public?
Oh and JARET, if you actually read this....LOL.....THANKS for being so friendly and meeting my girls. You made their day!

Hey love the blog!
Thank you soooo much! You're my first "official" compliment. :)
I'm having a good time. My mother always said I could talk to a wall. Well now I guess I can talk to a webpage. :)
