Somewhere in the process of growing up, our way of thinking changes. It's really sad because kids have such a neat perspective on things that we as adults don't have anymore.
Hubby was talking to Miss C about our new neighbors. When he was trying to explain who he was talking about he said:
"You know, the one with the blue Toyota."
C said: "Blue Toyota? I thought he was green?" ha ha ha
I love it! C thought he was saying they have a blue toy Yoda! It's funny that I've never heard that association before. I'm surprised Toyota hasn't used it as a marketing gimmick.
My take out of this conversation: I really need to listen to C more. She has such a neat view of things and can teach me just as much as I can teach her.
