Getting past the rough patch

Halleluah!! I think we're almost past the morning sickness. I had a few days last week that I felt pretty good but then it's been kind of yucky since Sunday. If I remember right, this is how it was with the last baby. It just means that happy days are almost here again!

I have really started getting excited lately. I'm looking forward to seeing another new face around here and spending time him/her. Because we already have 3 girls, everyone asks, "Do you hope it's a boy?" Well, sort of, but at the same time, I'd be just as happy with 4 girls. It definitely makes it easier. It's easier to share clothes, move kids from room to room when they start getting older, etc. I'm okay with it.

Now, that being said, I have done the silly predictors and each one I've done has said it's a boy. I guess we'll see how accurate those things are. It'll be another 2 months before I find out. I'm so anxious. I wish it was already April.

The big girls seem pretty excited, but they know it's a long wait so they've moved on for now. The baby has no clue of course. She'll be 2 in May so she has no idea what's about to hit, poor thing. :)

She has really been fun lately. She's repeating everything we say now and the girls love getting her to say things. Sunday it was just she and I sitting here together and I started asking her to say things. She said all of the grandparents' names wonderfully and even her aunts. Then I asked her to say "I'm cute." It came out "I'm cooot!" I love it. We have to video it and post it, but that means I'm going to have to learn how to do it first. I'm still working on that.

Here's a picture of my littlest munchkin feeding herself applesauce. Oh boy!!

I want to say thank you to everyone that has given me encouraging words over the last couple of months and especially to my CRHP sisters for providing dinner for the last couple of weeks. While I didn't think I needed it, it was a huge relief not to have to worry about it on those nights.

GOD BLESS!

I'm so glad to read your update. After not hearing from you for a long time I was worried something had happened. I hope the sickness really is on its way out.

I see Dr. McDonald too, so will be at Presby. I have had my last 3 kids there--love the nurses. Take care!
