This weekend I spent the weekend hanging out with my Mom and my girls. Yesterday we went to church together and it was great! I was so proud of the girls for basically behaving. :) Mom even said that she was so glad she went. Yea!
This morning I was running around the house a bit, waiting until it was time to take her to the airport. She was eating breakfast and watching me.
She said: "You're such a good mom. You take such good care of your girls....................and you're always doing dishes." I died laughing at that last part, but man did that make me feel pretty good.
I guess, even as adults, we still strive for our parents' approval.

Isn't that so true! I always get a little "rush" when my mom (or grandma) tells me I'm going a good job. I just want to be as good a mom as they were and are.
Too true! You are a good mom! I love it when my mom says something to me too. Make you feel like maybe you can do it after all. Glad you had a good visit.
