The CBS Morning Show had an interesting segment recently regarding more companies moving to a 4 day work week in order to save gas/money for employees as well as money for the company by lowering electricity costs.
I think this is an awesome idea. I'm sure most people are like us, trying to determine where we can cut back in our budgets. Obviously gas is one of the largest budget categories, as well as groceries which are high as a result of the increased price in gas.
I happen to work for a great company that already allows flexibility when it comes to taking care of my family and home life. I would love to see them move in this direction as well.
It will be interesting to see what happens with big business in the near future since the gas prices do not appear to be budging at all.
