I lost 2.2 lbs this week. Yea!!! I'm so excited and feel quite a bit better about things. Now, if I can just keep it off during Christmas. My MIL is an amazing cook and always has wonderful things around the house. I have to try so hard not to just continually eat while we're there.
My main focus this past week has been to try to cut my portions back. I know that I eat way more than my share so hopefully that will at least get things kick started. I have been spending a lot of time in prayer and that is helping. Spending time with GOD always makes me happy. I love my adoration time that I have on Sundays where I can be in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament and just be quiet with GOD. What a wonderful blessing!
I'm so glad to have you all here!
ON ANOTHER NOTE:
I have to ask for prayers for a friend and co-worker of mine. Actually he has moved on to another company, but we worked together for a couple of years and he is such a sweet man.
Last year Lyall lost his oldest son in a car wreck. It was such a difficult time for them, as I'm sure you can all imagine. Since then, like I said, he moved on to another job and he and his family were putting the pieces back together.
Yesterday I found out that he lost his remaining son in a car wreck also. It is so unbelievable that this could happen to the same family in less than 2 years. My heart is breaking for them and I've been praying constantly since I heard yesterday morning.
Please pray for Lyall and his wife Debbie as they deal with the difficult task of burying another child and putting the pieces back together yet again!
God Bless you all!!
Angie

I will definitely be praying for him right away. I'm grieving over this too. That is heart-breaking beyond words.
Keep doing what your doing. Portion control and fellowship with the Lord is a dynamic combination.

Merry Christmas! Praying...
