Tuesday catch up!

I fully intend to write on my blog every day. However, the weekends seem to get away from me and then before I know it, I haven't done anything. Yesterday was an exception also because the kids were out of school for Columbus Day. I was in our office all day but I was so scattered running between kids, the kitchen and the office that I never could stick to a task. So, today I'm trying to stay on task and get back on a decent schedule now that everyone is well. Yea!!

I spent my weekend just like any other, taxiing kids to and from soccer games and in the middle, trying to get some housework and errands done. After my retreat (and confession while at my retreat) I committed to keeping our Sundays holy. I plan to do the necessary things around the house, like cooking and a few loads of laundry, but there will not be any heavy cleaning on Sundays. I also actually sat down and watched football. It was wonderful! I love Sunday football and haven't had a chance to do that in quite a while.

While watching the games, I was also able to finish this sweater set for my sister to give as a gift. I had so much fun with it and the girls loved it. Now they both want one. :)
I'm glad they like my work. That makes me feel good that they still want to wear what I make.

Due to everyone being sick in my house and many other "minor" annoyances, I really feel that the "evil one" has been trying to crush my joy that I received over my CRHP weekend. The little things that are going on are just that.........little, but they're enough to say "alright already." The good thing about honoring Sunday though, was that I have been able to take it all in stride and continue to thank God for the MANY blessings in my life.

Thank you God for giving me the grace to remember you even when I'm totally annoyed at life and its many responsibilities.
