Scrapbook Marathon

I'm so excited! I'm headed off to my 2nd scrapbook retreat this year. It is so fun because I go with 2 of my best friends and we literally scrapbook all weekend long. Lately it's about the only time I get to get my books done. It's just been too much effort to get all the stuff out and then have to put it right back up. I provided the logo and link above 1) because I love the logo and 2) I got some jammies there to wear to my retreat. I can't wait.

I go with a group of about 23 other women and we go to The Covered Bridge Inn in Weatherford, Texas. It is such a beautiful place and the owners are awesome!! Pat makes the best food. It's like being pampered and getting my scrapbooking done all in the same weekend. It is soooo worth it.

I have been packing things up tonight and hoping that I don't forget anything. I will be posting again probably Sun night or Monday.

My girls are already telling me that they don't want me to go. That makes me sad, but I know that they'll be fine with their Dad. He amazes me at how good he is with the kids. Sometimes I think he handles them better than I do. He has more patience.

This is a picture of my with my two best buddies the last time we went in April. It's not the most flattering picture of me, but hey.........I'm not there to win the most beautiful award. I'm there to get some work done. :)
